Time Magazine Online has this short video, mainly showing journalist running in Vibram Five Fingers:

Maybe when it’s warmer, the mainstream media will actually take their shoes off and get a feel for it. Then again, it’s probably easier to sell shoes than it is to sell the idea of running barefoot in the middle of January!
Headed out to walk and run—-it may get up to upper 50s here today and I hope so, so I can hit the grass at Centennial Park with NO SHOES.

Hey, I have just ordered a pair of Vibrams and can’t wait for them to arrive! I had to get a store in town to send away for some samples as only one other shop in New Zealand stocks them. Anyway, I tried them and they felt great. I have had many issues with lower extremity injuries and when I tried running in them I felt totally fine – no niggles I would normally get 🙂
I would go totally barefoot but my feet are too soft and I can’t even handle walking over gravel…
Yay barefoot!!!
